A program for inactive and marginally active health seekers
If you have been inactive in the past and have decided that now is the time to work some activity into your life then this is the program for you. Our Getting Active program is designed to start slowly and increase activity gradually with a focus on walking and finding fitness in everyday activities like; parking further away from a store entrance, taking the stairs instead of the escalator, walking around the soccer field instead of sitting and watching your child’s or grandchild’s game.
If you have had a hard time in the past getting to the gym or to a scheduled activity, our Getting Active program works around your schedule – it goes where you go and is accessible around the clock. Getting Active is a virtual fitness membership which incorporates the following components:
- Personal Coaching Technology - including the M2 Personal Smart Coach –a small feedback computer programmed with your personal health and fitness goals that you wear every day while at home, work or play –doing the things you enjoy, finding fitness in everyday activities
- Health Coaches & Program Planning - nutritionists, personal trainers & life coaches available for when expert guidance, support and encouragement is needed to reach your goals – having a plan is key to achieving success.
- MYTRAK Health Community - our online meeting place that provides the social support needed to succeed, a place where sharing and chatting is encouraged – here you can join interest groups, participate in friendly challenges and be inspired by others - all at the click of a mouse
- AT-Home Fitness Training - exclusive exercise devices and corresponding DVD’s created to enhance your activity program, all done in the privacy of their own home. For example: My Wand is our exclusive 30 minute core-training and cardio circuit designed to target those all important core muscles and belly fat.
